Removed the cooler because it was a bit thick and got too hot during games. Especially in this case. Removed the stock cooler for 120mm aio.

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB VENTUS OC

Overclocked to +120MHz core clock and +1150MHz memory with power limit and temp limit maxed using MSI Afterburner. Idles at 32 degrees C and reaches 71 degrees C under load. Runs Monster Hunter World on Highest settings with 60-80fps. With a custom fan curve the fans are never distinctly audible.

Obviously an RTX 2080 will be great today, it does nearly everything I ask of it and often more.

Ray tracing is incredible for the games that have it but my performance is by no means weak and I still only manage 50 FPS on BF5 ultra settings with ray tracing. Maybe that is good, maybe not. I am not sure but I do know I can get 144 FPS on ultra settings without ray tracing and that is only because my monitor is only a 144hz. Looks amazing but slashes your performance.

Amazing card. Ray tracing worth it? Not sure yet.
