Perfect for gaming and frequently used files. When using a large program such as a game initially, boot times take a while, However once opened again, the programs boot much quicker. Perfect for quick and reliable storage without breaking the bank.

Boots fast, Is big, what more could I ask for? Truthfully just glad to get off of the ticking time-bomb of an 8-yr-old HDD that I was running earlier this year.

Once you understand how this sshd works you'll appreciate it the more you play a game the faster it gets. Downloading games it's average speed of a standard hhd but playing the games or using the files is a different story. The more u play or use a file the faster it gets. I wanted the sleek one this is the one meant for laptops I love it's size the size of a SSD.

Decent drive, quick for a 5400RPM. Biggest let down is the extremely aggressive APM settings where it will spin down after just a few seconds of no activity. Thankfully CrystalDiskInfo is able to disable this annoying APM feature.

I haven't really used it at all, but the files I save on it are primarily just word and excel docs for work. I haven't had a crash or slow usage with it yet. I wanted to give it 4 stars because Amazon initially advertised it as 7200 rpm, but I can't knock the product for a third party false advertisement.

I use this drive to store my games, and find gaming performance comparable to an SSD for most games I play. The 2.5" form factor since it is so much smaller than a 3.5" drive. The five year warranty is great as well

Good amount of storage for pretty cheap. This is my first run with a hybrid drive, the idea being that I run my 2 main system partitions from the SSD and install all of my games to the FireCuda. So far this has worked pretty well, loading times are short and I don't notice much issue. I have had one case where I was playing Dauntless and steam was running a large game update and I was getting performance problems in Dauntless, I can't say for certain that it was I/O problems, but this is my most likely culprit ATM. If I prove that this wasn't the problem I'll come back and add the missing star.

These things are amazing. They're noticeably faster than their fully mechanical counterpart (at least when it comes to gaming), the size helps out a bunch when working with ITX or SFF builds and the 2 TP capacity is even more great if you're limited in drive bays.
