Description

Very easy case to build in. Only problem I had was memory wasn't running at advertised speed but quickly fixed that in bios. Temps have also been very good even with stock cooler. It's handled 1440 gaming very well.

Hey dude. Gotta say I love the white and black in the build, but I have some suggestions you might be interested in. The CPU is hands down the best choice for your budget How in the world did you get an X470 for only 109? That's like the same price as a B450. Great buy The ram is a bigger issue for me. If you had spent a few more dollars, then you could have probably gotten a kit of 3600 speed, but I'm guessing you got 3200 cause that was the only reasonably priced kit in white. The storage is the only thing I don't like. If you had spent $50 more you could've gotten a 2TB hard drive with the SSD. You could use your SSD as a boot drive and to hold often opened applications, and the HDD for your gaming libraries and documents and other stuff. For the colors of your build, the GPU and case are fine, but in a different world, I would've gone with a 5700 XT which offers the same or sometimes better performance but not by much, for less. Also, EVGA does have a fully modular, 650 watt, 80+ gold certified PSU for I think a couple of bucks less than the one you have. Overall, its a good build, but there is room for improvement on the PSU and storage side of the bargain. Have a good day and don't forget to wash your hands. Cya =)

I got the CPU and motherboard at micro center in a bundle deal so it was a really good deal. I also plan on adding more storage in the future just got the SSD to get me up and running. I agree 3600 RAM would’ve been better but at the time it was out of stock and about 25 dollars more then the 3200 so that’s what I went with. But I appreciate all of your insight.

Great cpu/gpu pairing. I believe way too many people go overboard with their cpus, they don’t do all that much compared to gpus especially at 1440. Productivity is a different story of course, but for gaming you nailed it. Easy to add storage as your game library grows - and it will!

100% agree especially since gaming is pretty much all I do. I’m definitely planning on adding storage in future. Just got 500gb to get me up and running.

Exactly what I did, same size even.
